This introductory overnight camping experience is a chance for grandparents and grandchildren to learn all about summer camp at Mingus and discover what they like best!

Become a true night owl with nighttime hikes, night zipping, glow-in-the-dark painting, night disc golf, and so much more to explore! We’ll share in this fun while growing our faith, growing friendships, and growing our night vision! Who knows? You may not need a flashlight after spending a week in community under the cover of darkness!

Senior High Adventures in Missions

Campers will also enjoy outdoor experiences such as canoeing Prescott Lake or hiking in the area, and traditional Mingus Mountain camp activities. Our hope is for campers to leave knowing they can make a difference in the world through service to their community!

Senior High L.I.T. Camp

Session 2: June 26 – July 1

For rising 10th graders to graduated Seniors, L.I.T. campers begin the life-long journey of being the leader God has designed and invited them to be. We will spend the week participating in team-building activities, small group discussions on servant leadership, helping lead a group of campers, and participating in traditional Mingus camp activities. This week of leadership training will encourage participants to listen to the voice of God within them to partner in building the Kingdom here on earth through their gifts and talents.
